    Bahhhh! Windoze..

    Hey :]

    AHh i love this site.

    Anyway need some help.

I just moved house and set up my Mac Mini.

Now when I run Windows XP on it (it's an Intel one) it doesn't recognise my USB mouse and USB keyboard!

(Ironically the mouse is Microsoft one.)

At my old house they worked fine via a KVM switch.

Any ideas why they aren't now?

only thing I can recommend is disconnect your mouse and keyboard "USB" and use standard ps2 or mac mice/keyboards, then go into the device manager, remove any HID mice/hub/ports, and all your usb root/hub/port etc.

Plug in your USB mouse/keyboard, then unplug your ps2/mac mouse keyboard, remove the ps2 mice/keyboards from device manager then refresh the device manager. Windows plug n play should then try to install the drivers, most of the drivers will be in "windows\system32\drivers", "windows\system32\" and "windows\system\"
so if it asks where the driver file is, point it to each of those directories. If windows does not find the files it's looking for, you may need to load your system driver disc and/or USB device driver disc into the cd/dvd drive and either run the setup utilities for those devices, or point the pnp setup to the drivers on the disc.

Ps2 is a very basic connection that most any computer can handle.

while the USB prolly needs drivers..

and windows dosn't support macs (driver wise)
