    A picture says it all!

    A SiteAdvisor screen-shot:- http://i50.tinypic.com/51na9.jpg

Clicking on 'Visit anyway' (Bottom RH corner) leads, here in the UK, to
a screen with three simple words .......

    "Error - site blocked"

What "risky behavior" may happen on that site? Ideas welcomed!

    I *am* doing my homework!

I was checking to see if Aardvark was actually going to be at work this
    afternoon! ;-)

It would have been even more helpful had he reported whether or not
*his* ISP is now blocking access to TPB. Oh well. <shrug>

McAfee was not responsible for blocking the site!

Following in the footsteps of Virgin Media, Everything Everywhere, Sky
    Broadband, TalkTalk, BE and O2,
UK ISP BT has now blocked access to ThePirateBay

McAfee is alerting that the site should not be opened with a browser.

My search should have revealed a result explaining why McAfee feels the
site is malicious or "dangerous" to the end-user.

That is essentially the question the OP is asking.

None of the door-knobs here (who are saying "do your own homework") can
    offer an explanation either.

    Indeed it is!

    Take a look here:- http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/thepiratebay.se

I don't know why you got no hits!

    I agree.

    Hahaha! I like that - "door-knobs"! :-D

McAfee must have *some* concerns - I simply wondered what they are.

    The True is........
it in your McAfee bad site list that is updated daily..

    all Downloads is risky behavior...
For ThePiratebay.se is Blocked by McAfee for your own Protection,
to keep you from getting a Virus or Spywares..

But if you like things, like that,
you can add ThePiratebay it your McAfee safe site list,
and remove it from it Bad Site list..

But McAfee will not be able Protect you there,
    from Spywares or US-Pandora-Affections..
