Well, I guess that's it. I sure learned my lesson on this one. I am always the one that tries to make sure I do it right, and I should have bothered someone from the beginning instead of trying to do it myself. I tried a reinstall and my xp cd has a corrupted file (tried last night). So, it looks as if I will have to purchase another copy or get another computer. Thanks for at least trying to help. Sorry for the waste of time.
