Okay, what I received from them on the tips email must have just been a partial list. I must have missed something somewhere because I thought WOT was just a add-on for Firefox. I need to look into it some more to make sure I am getting full use out of it. Thanks as always!

Oh absolutely not. I have it on IE also, though I rarely use IE. I used Opera for awhile and used it on there too, but I didn't care for Opera so I uninstalled that browser.

I have another question, sorry, I guess I am full of them. I know that you thought you were finished with me. I guess right now I am afraid to make decisions for myself, maybe I will get to the point where I think for myself again and therefore run out of questions. ( I am posting it on this thread because it is shorter and somebody else may have the answer they need too). So here goes, I uninstalled Adobie Reader and installed Foxit. I don't know if I missed a check box that I should have unchecked but "Foxit PDF Creator Toolbar" and "Foxit PDF Creator Toolbar Updater" installed with Foxit. Are these necessary and can I uninstall these? I am going to go back to AT&T as my homepage that uses the Yahoo search engine instead of the MSN with Bing but Foxit wants me to use their webpage with Ask. So I am wondering if this is because of the toolbar installation.

You absolutely missed some check marks. One thing you must do always, is whenever you download anything, watch every single thing they show you either when choosing the download or during the actual install and remove check marks for the things they may offer. You missed a lot more than one check mark there. As far as I can tell you missed at least four....toolbar, updater, home page, and Ask. As far as home page, all you have to do is say no. Toolbars can be disabled via Firefox in Tools, Addons. Just click the disable button next to each.

I never ever use a search engine box on a home page or any web page for that matter, helps eliminate possible tracking by the home page. I use Google through Firefox browser toobar addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...atform=windows OR you can use the built in search window in Firefox and choose google by clicking the drop down and choosing google.

Thank you again! Hopefully no more questions for a good long while. I think the best thing to do is uninstall all of it and start over looking for those check boxes. Because I am afraid if I just uninstall the toolbar stuff that it might cause problems for the main program since it all installed together.

Hello again JH, it's me with another question. Thought I could figure this one out on my own but I was wrong. Sorry to bother you with something so simple but I have tried everything and can't figure out the combination. I want my Firefox to be secure; however, I do not want my information to delete every time I close my email. How should I set my internet options to be as secure as possible but stay signed into my email upon closing it. Maybe I am just lazy but I hate having to sign into my email every time that I go there unless there is a good reason why I need to get used to this. Thanks again and I hope this finds all well with you

I presume you are using a web mail because that is the only way that Firefox would have anything to do with email. If you are using an email program like Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live mail Program then the setting would be in there, not Firefox. There should be some place on the email page that gives you the option of staying signed in. In Firefox, you need to have 1st party cookies Kept. That would be located in Tools, Options, Privacy, Use Custom Settings for History, a checkmarks in Accept cookies from sites and NO check mark in 3rd party cookies.
You DO want 1st party cookies. You also would want Firefox to remember your browsing history, if you have it cleared each time you close it then you will always have to sign into every site you use that requires sign in.
