Truly see nothing at all that would be questionable or of concern.
About the only thing I would suggest is get rid of Adobe Reader in favor of Foxit Reader, same for the desktop by the way, forgot to mention that on your other thread.

    http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/

Adobe Reader tends to be somewhat bloated. Foxit reader works exactly the same way and is less bloated. But that would be the only suggestion I have for changing programs.
You have lots of Bing stuff on there, I don't use Bing, I use google and if you don't use Bing either you could uninstall those too.

I would most definitely ADD SpywareBlaster to the laptop, along with Web Of Trust (WOT) SUPERAntispyware also. Maybe also add SpyBot, NO TEATIMER though. Same rules that apply to desktop would also apply to laptop, weekly scans with all scanner programs. Also add AdBlockPlus to Firefox on laptop. Links for all of those are on your other thread.

I also neglected to mention to be sure your browsers are configured correctly for cookies. 1st party cookies only (those are from the web page you are visting) and NO 3rd party cookies, those are from ads on pages you visit. You never want those, those often are tracking cookies.

Correct cookie settings for Firefox are in my attachment.

We have power back by the way!!!

Good News all the way around! Sounds like I only have some minor fine tuning to do. I do use Bing, only because of the bad press that Google gets sometimes about using information it gathers. I used Google until recently. However, if it is causing a lot of useless junk to be on my computer I may have to revisit my decision on that. I also use MSN as my homepage and Bing is their browser of choice. MSN may not bee the best choice for my homepage either, not sure why I am using that. The main issue with my laptop is it is slow to boot up and I am wondering if all of this extra stuff is causing that. I used to know how to go in and check my boot options but have not done that in quite a while. Thanks for looking and glad to hear you have power again. I know this will make your life a little easier.

I see some services that start automatically that are not needed that might slow the boot process somewhat:
    CinemaNow Service
AdobeARMservice>>>I don't see Adobe ARM installed but it might be part of the Adobe Reader, I don't know
Secunia PSI Agent>>>>I would certainly stop this. If needed it should be run manually but honestly see no reason to have it running at boot or all the time.
    Secunia Update Agent

These three are from SUPERAntispyware, the ones I showed you how to turn off on the other thread, but I don't see it installed either. Did you have it and remove it at some time?

Should I just go ahead and delete these since they are not important?
I did not uninstall Superantispyware that I know of but it could have happened accidentally I have not used it in a while. I am in the process of updating everything on all computers so I can do the scans weekly as advised.

SUPERAntispyware doesn't show in the installed programs list, see if it shows in the Uninstall Programs list. If it does, uninstall it and install a new copy.

It is showing on the uninstall list but I can't find it so I will uninstall and reinstall. I also have another question. I got a tips list from WOT in my email and it looks like it only works on Google and Yahoo. I do not see Bing listed so does it not work on Bing? If that be the case I may want to go back to Google.

    WOT works on Bing, just like it does on most all other search engines. I just checked to be sure and this page tells you this also;

    http://www.mywot.com/en/blog/161-bing-gets-wot-ratings

Hope you do understand that WOT is a WHOLE lot more than just a safe search browser add-on...and it works on FireFox, IE, Opera, Chrome and Safari browsers. It will also give you a ranking of any page you visit by showing you different color circles in up in your browser...dark green and green mean safe, yellow means be careful it could be risky and red meaning very poor and possibly dangerous and a red warning will also usually cause a page that will block you from mistakenly visiting bad pages entirely with a big black warning page like the one shown in my attachment.
