What is the point in posting this?

I see he had to change his posting name.
    Most everybody had "BD" blocked.
He must have gotten tired of talking to himself... :-)
Oh well, what's another name on the plonk list? :-)

    FYI

Usenet is a worldwide distributed Internet discussion system. It was
developed from the general purpose UUCP architecture of the same name.
Duke University graduate students Tom Truscott and Jim Ellis conceived
the idea in 1979 and it was established in 1980. Users read and post
messages (called articles or posts, and collectively termed news) to one
or more categories, known as newsgroups.

Usenet resembles a bulletin board system (BBS) in many respects, and is
the precursor to the various Internet forums that are widely used today.
Usenet can be superficially regarded as a hybrid between email and web
forums. Discussions are threaded, with modern news reader software, as
with web forums and BBSes, though posts are stored on the server
    sequentially.

One notable difference between a BBS or web forum and Usenet is the
absence of a central server and dedicated administrator. Usenet is
distributed among a large, constantly changing conglomeration of servers
that store and forward messages to one another in so-called news feeds.
Individual users may read messages from and post messages to a local
server operated by their Internet service provider, university, or employer.

    I hope that helps.

Is there something within the report with which you disagree?

Not at all. Not one single little bit.

That'd be much more helpful, Beau.

    That can be arranged! ;-)

I didn't read it. It was irrelevant, ****.

    *Someone* may find it helpful!

The enlightenment of others less well informed that you, perhaps?

This *is* a discussion group - why not discuss the matter?

    > What next? A recipe for shepherd's pie?

If you wish, but there are probably more appropriate newsgroups.

Is there something within the report with which *you* disagree?

Uhh. Do you really think I needed that? C'mon now...

I had a UUCP email address at one point. [g]

Nothing I can think of off hand, no. I don't see the point in it's post
tho. What information were you trying to bring upon us?

Before I answer your question, I'd very much like you to explain what
*you* mean by your use of the word *US*.

(Aardvark once stressed quite heavily that "There is no us" - TINU!)
