Delivery Failure to an Email Address I Never Sent

[Buffalo]

Hi, I sent an email to a bunch of friends and then I got a notice that this
email had a 'mail delivery failure' due to "The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 552-'5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed limit'
".
I checked the email I sent out and used Properties (OE) and that addy was
not on the list.
I checked my addy book and that email addy is not there.

I have no idea where that email addy came from.

The email addy is: mailtoh33r@yara-box.net .
I have tried to find it on the Internet, but no help.
Is this a familar email addy to anyone?
How could an email that I sent to friends get sent to someone unknown and
not be
listed in the properties of the sent email?

I ran a MBAM and SAS with no detections.

Email failed because the attachment was too big and exceeded the either the sender's or
(most likely) the receiver's email max. limits.

I understood that part, but nowhere is that addy in my address book or
listed under properties in the email I sent. It listed all the addy's, but
that one was not there.

PS: It was also not the addy of the original sender of the email I
forwarded. How it got sent to that email address is what I am concerned
about.

Your address may have been used by another as the sender and thus you got the failed mail
message.

As David pointed out, it may have been a spam run using your email
address as the return address. Reading the entire bounce message should
give you some idea of whether the message that was bounced was actually
the same one you sent out, or something else you had never seen before
(a spam run).

Another possibility is that one of the email addresses you sent it to
is being autoforwarded to a different address. As a for instance, I have
one of my email addresses autoforwarded to spamfence.net which filters
out the spam, then autoforwards the remaining emails to yet another
address which I monitor. In such a setup, bounce messages could feasably
be generated from any of three different servers using three different
email addresses.

Thanks for that interesting info.
The first part of the email address (ph33r@yara-box.net) is ph33r which can
mean "fear" in hacker language.
There is also a virus called ph33r talked about here:

But, then again, there are probably many things for many names.
And the "@yara-box,net" brings no hits on Google.
I am looking at the bounced message properties and trying to detect any
abnormalites. I'm definately not good at that.
Hopefully it was a one time occurance.
