They do have a Chat with a Tech service on their website I have used in the past with pretty good results.
big thank you...and yes option 2 asked for the same disk.
I tried searching the disk for the file it was asking for, but it was not located on the disk....even with all the search options enabled....

I will call dell and thank you for all you have done..
I guess I didnt have a virus and just a corrputed IE.
Firefox works like a charm and I will be using that as my browser....funny but Windows Media player works with FireFox, but not IE, so as you suggested my IE is messed up....thank you very much for your time and prompt response....
