Hi Folks,
For many years and through 2 laptops I have experienced instances where my computer mouse pointer seems to act uncontrollaby on its own. Clicking, scrolling, opening many other instances of open apllications, all at lightning speed.
I pull the power plug and reboot and everything is fine.
Lately (in the last few days)these instances have happened much more frequently.
I am with sympatico.ca and seem to have the same IP address from day to day.
I run/have spybot,Avira free is active, just purchased Malwarebytes PRO to run realtime protection, subscribed to iPrivacyTools and installed "IP Changer" software (although it seems to slow down ie8 considerably)
The only things that show up from scans are cookie trackers in Spybot.
I have a NAT Router behind DSL modem on a home network of 5 computers and 2 wireless tablets
It is as if someone knows my IP and unleashes this attack, usually as I am surfing, with some sort BOT that takes over.
Sometimes it won't happen for months, but just lately 3-4 times a day.
I swear it hit the undo button in excel (while I left the machine unattended) and I lost work twice yesterday -am I going crazy!!! That never happened before.
This "thing" has followed me as I said for many year and through 2 Dell laptops Win XP and Win7. The only consistent thing is ISP sympatico.ca.
Any reccomendations as to what I should do? I sure need some help. Nothing since Malwarbytes PRO installed, but that was just last night.
I even went wireless on my main machine and now turn antenna off when I leave the machine. During an attack I shut wireless off and it seemed to stop, but then again another time it continued.
HELP!!!
