my computer freezes

my computer freezes every 10 minutes or so unless i use spybot search and destroy. then for a few hours it works fine, then it starts to freeze again and everytime it freezes i have to turn off my computer. It freezes even when i dont do anything, i just move the mouse. please, can someone help me with this problem?

We need a lot more information than you have given us. Please follow all the steps here and then post back with an AVG Anti-spy log and a HiJackThis log.
What specifically are you doing when these freezes happen?

whenever my computer freezes it doesnt matter what im doing, i could just be online or closing a window and doing nothing in particular and all of a sudden it just freezes

Hard drive size, how much space remaining...also how much RAM is installed?
