    Interesting...

    http://www.youhavedownloaded.com/

    Very interesting site. If you've been torrenting, it likely knows. What's
    more, it can show you the stuff youve downloaded (or seeded)...

    Thoughts and opinions?

    It has no records for me, but I'm gonna fire up Tor and see if it gives
    me results from that IP. I suspect I've been a bad boy. LOL

    Brooks typed my IP in there and got a bunch of stuff I didn't download,
    but he probably didn't find my correct IP <snicker>.

    I go there now it says:
    "Well, you are in the clear. But look what others do"

    I run Peerguardian, must work, eh?

    Depends on whether or not your ISP has a policy of trying to always give
    you the same IP address. A policy which I'm curious about - along the
    lines of who does it, in which countries is that typical, etc.

    I always get a different IP address when I tell my router to perform a
    disconnect/reconnect cycle. Which is very handy to be able to do when
    you're downloading from file-lockers who try to limit free users based
    on IP address.

    ===========
    Hi. We have no records on you.

    This means you are using a private torrent tracker or,
    of course, you may not be a torrent user at all!
    It happens.
    ===========

    It's odd that this "you have downloaded" site doesn't give "Your IP
    address has changed" as a possible reason why it's not detecting any P2P
    activity from your (current) IP address. I would have thought that it
    would be at the top of the list of reasons.

    This site was in the news a few months ago when some people ran the IP
    addresses for some well-known institutions (ie - Buckingham Palace) and
    it came back with some positive P2P results.

    I don't think there is any 'fingerprinting' going on here - only IP
    addresses.

    I have not even bothered to check that. Uptime is 95% sans the
    occasional power blink-out. Remote access is done with LogMeIn, so I
    don't worry about my IP changing.
