    HiJackThis is now Open Source

HijackThis is a free utility that generates an in depth report of
registry and file settings from your computer. HijackThis makes no
separation between safe and unsafe settings in its scan results giving
you the ability to selectively remove items from your machine. In
addition to this scan and remove capability HijackThis comes with
several tools useful in manually removing malware from a computer.

IMPORTANT: HijackThis does not determine what is good or bad. Do not
make any changes to your computer settings unless you are an expert
    computer user.

    However ......

Advanced users can use HijackThis to remove unwanted settings or files.

One may then post an HJT report here for some independent guidance:-

    Any takers?

OK - I'll admit to "fail to tell the 'whole truth and nothing but the
    truth' by omission."

What you posted is well known and not just by many but by you. You yes you BD posted
this same about this 2 years ago then again last year when you were doing your
usual stupid attack with Robear. And now again in 2012
You are nothing but a Troll who likes to instigate issues with others

Nope! You really are an involute *liar* PF <shakes head>

Until a short time ago, HJT was fully owned by Trend Micro. (They bought
same from Merijn a few years ago now! http://merijn.org/ )

I got my HijackThis log and went to www.hijackthis.de and clicked on English
and I can't figure out what to do with my log. I thought someone would look
at it and tell me what was wrong and what to do. Am I not correct and how do
    I do that please?

"You can paste a logfile in this textbox"

"or you can choose a logfile from your computer"

What part of that do you need help with? Paste your log into the textbox
    and click the Analyze button.

I did that but I didn't know what to do with the results that came back. I
seem to remember a couple of years ago that I sent my log file to a web site
and someone with more knowledge than me, looked at it and replied as to what
    I should do.

    Thanks
