Is New Relic included in current MVPS Hosts file?

I notice that at some point in the (recent) past, that I've added a few
    newrelic.com hosts file entries.

    127.0.0.1 beacon-1.newrelic.com
    127.0.0.1 newrelic.com

At the time I didn't know what they did - just saw them showing up in my
    router's out-bound log.

Today I was going through some .JS files that I'm hosting on my own PC -
running them through an on-line JS code "beutifier" so I can read this
    ****, and modify it.

There's something called a NREUM cookie that they set. I found
references to this cookie from here:

    https://d1ros97qkrwjf5.cloudfront.net/30/eum/rum.js

I have a bunch of directories on my system where I'm simulating various
servers (their directory structures, js files, etc).

If you want a good picture of what New Relic does and what their cookie
does, here it is right from the horses's ass (I mean mouth):

Sorry New Relic - you fail.

    Hosts file sez -> 127.0.0.1

    Thanks 'Virus Guy' :-)

I enjoyed watching that YouTube video .... especially 'cause the CEO had
a desktop iMac just like mine! ;-)

Simply coincidental, I'm sure ....... but have you noticed that the
persona 'Peter Foldes' signs off all his posts with ..... *JS*!!!

Good job I didn't steal it then!

It's 'open source' here on Usenet!

OK - I'll admit to "fail to tell the 'whole truth and nothing but the
    truth' by omission."

I've been more than fair to you, S*******. If you really don't wish to
start afresh in 2012 then be prepared for pain - *real* pain! Your call.
