I find it rather amusing from a technical aspect. The idea you can
arbitrarily ban something or someone. Even you know it's an exercise in
futility. Btw, I provided you an answer to that question previously.

    Here it is again.

There is no shame in admitting you're clueless! as to what to do with it.

    OK - I've had a look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnet_URI_scheme

Thanks for the reminder! You are correct. I don't know what to 'do' with
it - but willing to learn should you wish to explain.

There are *many* things I do not know, Dustin!

For instance, I do not know why there is no mention whatsoever of
Malwarebytes on this exceptionally detailed page about 'The Parasite Fight'.

    http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm Last Updated November 21, 2008

"We are in an ongoing parasite epidemic! Adware, spyware, hijackers,
badvertising, automatic diallers, betrayware, social network
exploitation, and a variety of other web-delivered invasions and
exploits — they represent today a much larger security threat than
viruses, and cause a lot more general computer problems. You need to
know what’s out there, how to identify it on your computer and remove
it, and how to protect yourself against more in the future."

You and I both know that the guys in the AumHa Forums *do* use
Malwarebytes when providing 'cleaning' advice. Ref:

Great, another already existent malware term being re-purposed to the
confusion of users. Sorry, but to me commercial motivation is not a
prerequisite for a malware being parasitic - or being called a parasite.

    Your comment appreciated, FTR.

Do you feel that the site is/was *commercially motivated"?

No, I think they're trying to do the right thing. I just think that they
could be more original by coming up with *new* term instead of
re-purposing an already extant one. Next they'll be calling everything a
virus - no, wait - they already do. \
