The non intrusive ad op-out is still there - this release and several prior to
this one.

No, not really.
I don't use it but have read numerous complaints about their "sell out" to advertisers in
many, various, arenas including Mozilla.

That *may* be the case that I am unaware of since I'm not a Moz fanboi.
For the purposes in which I use the extension, I give it a five-star rating.
