I have this on my Sprint HTC. I called CS again and the 1st oper.
didn't even know what I was talking about. She even told me "OMG..I
don't want that on *my* phone either".

2nd line manager was aware of Carrier IQ, but not all the data it
"phones home". I told her I consider this a criminal act of Federal
wiretapping laws. She did not know how to respond, but I did sense some
empathy because now -she- is worried about -her- phone.

I have an open ticket. I need to follow-up now that the legal team has
had a crack at it (hopefully).
