Spyware Blaster Database Update Dec 07 | 2011

    Hi,

.. 14828 total new items in database
    .. 57 New
    .. 6 New IE CLSIDs
.. 51 New IE Restricted sites
.. No new entries for Mozilla

Ensure you enable full protection once you have fetched the download.

You're most welcome ! Is auto-update now free or did I miss
    the Memo <wink>

I prefer manual since you can log the update event unless with auto
you still need to apply to updates once done.

** If someone could confirm this ? **

    Regards,

    Silj

I paid them for the peace of mind, and I trust them (no ouch so far).
And then, my main browser is chrome, although I now seem to need Firefox
too because some javascripts refuse to work in Chrome.

I fully agree with you about both what's going on with Mozilla and your
liking for Opera. If only the adblocking in Opera was better!

But you can still keep your preferred version of Firefox with your favourie
addons if you use Palemoon. Take a look here

    http://www.palemoon.org/

    And it's being maintained.

I shall not try to comment on the bulk of your very informative post, but
this part I have already acted upon.

I already had Ghostery installed also NoAds, but I've now added NoAdds
Fixed and Opera Adblock. What a major improvement! I've been trying this
modified version on some of my most visited pages in Palemoon and Firefox,
and I'm very happy with the results.

I can see that I shall be using Opera more frequently in future as long as
I can sort out my many bookmarks.

    Thanks for the information.

I can't see where Mozilla is going.
