This is a very interesting and at the same time a bit disturbing information on real time monitoring of world's population country by country:

Disturbing part is how fast the numbers spin for some of the biggest 3rd World countries. They complain about having no food, water and a sucky economy yet....

The more kids you have, the more chance you have of one or two surviving. Coupled with a tradition of the young ones looking after the elders (more kids = live more comfortably), plus a lack of proper contraception, thats what you get in the end. Every now and again, a population explosion, mass hunger and death etc, back to normal... damn, if eel very cold and callous, sitting here knowing that terrible stuff like that will never happen to me.

The thing that slays me is, no matter how long the famine, drought, ethnic cleansing, mass exodose, what ever, the population is always MORE.

They cant kill each other fast enough to even make a dent in the population. and here we are trying to save them.
