    Thanks Silj!

I tried what VanguardLH suggested at the first of the month:

"So to ensure that I don't end up with remnants in the registry for
entries that have been removed from SpywareBlaster, I do the following:

    - Disable all protection in SpywareBlaster (ActiveX, Cookies, Restricted
Sites). That removes the registry entries for the current lists.
    - Do the update to SpywareBlaster.
    - Enable all protection. Entries for the new list are added to the
    registry.

If you don't do this for each update, and if you decide to later disable
all protection by SpywareBlaster (which you should also do before you
choose to uninstall it), you could end up with remnants in the registry
entries that you'll have to manually eradicate."

Before updating Spyware Blaster, I disabled all protection, updated and
    then enabled all protection.

VanguardLH posts to spam filled groups like 24hoursupport and freeware.

Thanks, although I know that and thus why I have this user and many others killfiled.

    Making a slow NG.

That's the downside of a killfile. Sometimes a user contributes to a
newsgroup but then engages the trolls in a one up. Then it's up to the
killfile user to weigh those two opposites. I saw your ;-) so I kind
of figured out what you were saying in your reply to me.

It's nice to have a newsgroup with posts that match it's name. And a big
    killfile. 8-)

You have the wrong person killfiled.

    Bear Bottoms, not VanguardLH.

The Best of Raid [Slam] aka Dustbin Cook

Aw, there was a time when you didn't believe such a thing as your
    present day sig, Silj.

Don't you miss the good ol' days...not even a teeny-tiny bit?

Ignore Bear Bottoms. He's a troll.

You've see VanguardLH post. He is long time Usenet persona. He participates in numerous
news groups and usually has good insight albeit sometimes his replies are long.
