well. America is just a peice of dirt, what they hate are the ideal's of "SOME" of the people that are allowed the freedom to occupy said dirt. If you want to praise something, or not, it should be the individual "PARTIES" that currently conduct the matters of country and state....

I love that guy at 'The Smirking Chimp' site.
And his current thread on "The America-Haters Strike Again" is dead on but god forbid a foreigner make the same comments when an American does and gets this much heat!
America was the name of an ideal place for me before I moved over here and still is...one day, though not any time soon, it will get there I think.
Being an American is not being born here or even becoming a citizen but upholding the values this country is build on!

I love this country and happy to be living here despite all the ignorant morons who take things for granted simply because they were born here!

There are alot of problems in america.

What gets me is... if it were a "war"(and by legal definition it isn't) conducted by the Democratic party, it'd get rave reviews by the media and by a good portion of those speaking out against it now.

You didn't hear much crying from us bombing the hell out of Serbia in the mid '90s... or Somalia.. or some other crap hole place that didn't make the news.

Theres a reason why people have editorial and news reporting jobs - its because they aren't good for anything else.

The media and such have made it a fashionable thing to bash Bush and his policies, were it either of the two candidates that ran against him people's outlook on things would be very much different. ...Now dont get me wrong, I think Bush the 2nd is as dumb as a box of rocks, but where we stand in regards to how things would have been taken care of versus those crap hole countries - we are in a much better position than if we had elected Gore or Kerry.
