    Support.com Acquires SUPERAntiSpyware

For all the SAS users out there, this might be of interest to you.
As many of you have noticed with me over the years, I don't like
preamble - thus - the thread below:

I've finally given up on my paid version of SAS. It is such a system
hog! After installing CleanMem, I saw that SAS was using hundreds of
megabytes of the "commit total," and that the number was constantly
increasing. After disabling SAS I find that my system is much more
responsive, and without the total halts of programs that would occur
    periodically whenever SAS was updating.

Maybe support.com can provide some support on this <grin>.

    Silj *was* a VSOP.

    http://web.archive.org/web/200902010...a.org/vsop.htm

He must know his stuff - so why has he been sacked? Hmmm!
(he's no longer mentioned here: http://aumha.org/vsop.htm)

You, 'dan z' obviously feel the software fails to meet your requirements
    nowadays.

Maybe there's more to matters than first meets the eye! ;-)

In spite of posters like ~BD~ I still lurk here, and post occasionally.
But it is getting difficult to separate BD crap from the good stuff.

Silj, don't worry - I know who the good guy is ...

That's very true. ~BD~ claims to 'tell the truth' but all he does is
spread malicious and slimy innuendos about good people (or good
software). He claims to be looking for 'bad guys' but since he does not
have the intelligence to actually find them, he attempts to make them up
by writing disparaging remarks about others.

He is a sad case indeed.

    BD *does* tell the truth!

Cite an instance of when BD has maligned good people or software.

BD has asked questions - which have not been answered!

Cite a reference regarding BD making a disparaging remark about 'others'.

BD is a very happy chap! :-)

Tell the folks why you were SACKED in the Navy.

While you are at it tell them why you got SACKED from AOL.

We could ask for more times you were SACKED but thought
we would leave the odd ball sex stuff out of it.

I am glad to hear that Nick is doing well. I remember when he first
posted here about his new software.

Yeah, I remember that too. He tactfully bowed out when the trolls tried to
stir him up. And maintained his credibility by doing so.

Yeah... it was borderline spam :-)
