They have the potential to interfere with file scanning. IE: MBAM will
try to open something SAS already knows to be bad, sas denies MBAM's
request. It also will take longer, as SAS is monitoring files as they
are opened.

For the same reasons you shouldn't run two antivirus resident. They
can/often will conflict with one another.
