I'm embarrassed to admit that I had to look up "fenestrated"! I learn

FYI - The shot was taken looking astern, after I'd passed under the bridge.

As far as I can remember, there was no crew aboard either vessel. I have
a suspicion that that is the 'permanent' mooring of each boat, at the
edge of a farmer's field. That's is quite common.

In general terms, one may moor up just about anywhere where one is not
causing an obstruction, either next to adjacent vessels or all by
oneself in the middle of nowhere! It's a secret world; I have no doubt
that there's many a "rendezvous"! ;-)
