*That* Silj, though, only made four posts in total - that's what a free
    search shows anyway.

A reminder of what Aumha says:-

    Randy Knobloch aka siljaline (AH-VSOP)

Montréal, CANADA. “IT consultant. Only true Quebecer in family and proud
of it. Family originates from Germany. I discovered the MS and MVP world
by fluke and haven’t looked back since. A true passion for me. I love to
help others help themselves with their computing problems. Volunteering
    my time is, a joy.”

    In Message-ID: <inin6u$ag0$1@speranza.aioe.org>

This is what Foldes said .........

"I post and have been posting in Aumha since it's inception along with
other news group servers. I was around when you joined us at Aumha and I
was sure around when you pulled the terrorist and bad guy routine there.
You also did the same at Annex and with AOL. Go and screw yourself
David. You do not know me as you think you do. I on the other hand do
know you since I have a lot of advantage over knowing you which you have
    not even dreamed about."

So, PF - *is* the Silj who post here (alt.privacy.spyware) the same one
as the guru advertised at the AumHa site?

I'm sure others might be curious too!

More pertinent though - is the help/advice proffered at Aumha genuine
and honest - with no fear of the compromise of one's computer if one
    visits the relevant URLs?

Reading through this thread was interesting.

There is no way in the world that Peter Foldes could *possibly* know who
/actually/ posted as 'Mac User' or even as 'BD' - one, or both, could
    easily be forgeries.
