    Updating of Malwarebytes

    Hi

I use the paid for version of MWAB, but keep getting told it is out of
    date, and to update it!

Surely there is an autoupdate function - but I just can't see it!

Please point out what I'm missing!!

Presumably with a paid version of MBAM you have an account at the MBAM
Forums ? Post your query there >

Open MalwareBytes and click the "Protection" tab.
    Then click on "Scheduler".
Use the drop down tabs to pick how often you want to update.
When you get it like you want it, then click "add".
I had the same problem. I had done everything but hit the "add" button.
After you do that, then you'll see it in the schedule window.
    And it'll work... :-)

Thanks - have done that, now wait and see. But it's worked perfectly
well for ages until recently. Maybe some update reset it?

Hi - yes it is the paid version. I forgot about the forum.

It is only at the MBAM Forum where you will get full support.
I have no problem with you discussing issues with the program here
    please be my guest.

Again, sign-up for an account at the MBAM Forum where an expert
will help you with the root cause of the problems you are having.

    Good luck !

Well I'm on version 1.50.1.1100 - and still not getting autoupdating.
I've made sure my firewall allows access.

Could you explain what you mean by "you have to re-add them". I've been
    doing manual daily updates.

I saw a reference in the forum to using a MWAB clean programme and
reinstalling - that will be my next step unless you have otehr ideas?

Deleting the scheduled tasks and re-creating them is what I meant,
    sorry I wasn't clearer.

    It wouldn't hurt anything.

Problem now solved - but only by uninstalling, running the "mbam-clean"
program and reinstalling. Something obviously got broke somewhere,
somehow, but all is well that ends well!
