It wasn't a cross-post it was a multi-post. By posting the same
message in multiple groups, and then only responding with the
resolution in one of the groups, you made it difficult for those
seeking a solution for the problem. It is far better to cross-post
your message to all the groups you asked the question in because all
the groups can see the entire thread and resolution. As it is you
insinuated that Malwarebytes could not remove the infection in
multiple groups, and then only rectified that misinformation in
alt.comp.anti-virus.
