My best guess is that it *is* genuine.

I suspected it was spam, and didn't follow your link, and I don't suggest that anyone follow the many Google search results in my long link as you can see the spiel is the same in all instances.

Most certainly *not* trying to help spammers!

Whilst going through CDs of saved information (looking for photos of
Lewis!) I came across data I'd saved on disc from my old 'rogue' PC. I
found some info about escan

I remembered 'playing around' with escan at the end of 2005 and was
fairly sure it caused me more problems than it solved, but it's all very
hazy now.

they used to have a free cleaner which worked well. Then they decided that
it should scan for free but clean for a fee. I don't know if things have
changed or not.
