    Oh dear!

Have I *really* got to start all over again?

I do prefer the friendly interaction of the Usenet groups!

Surely you could have suggested I go here too, Dustin!

Btw, when I plug in Jenn's site (pqlr.org) there are two i-frames
reported. I don't suppose that matters much - does it?

Grass is all now neat and tidy!

    Now - where were we?

Ah yes, you are going to explain how one can tell if the web page image
I posted is real or a spoof.

    I'm listening ............

Not from looking at the page's rendering, but from looking at the
    address where it is located.

The only way that page could be somewhere other than MS's site would be
if your operating system thought that www.microsoft.com was not the real
www.microsoft.com -- that some other site was www.microsoft.com, based
on interference with the name service.

Also, if perpetrator could take over the MS webserver, then he could
serve up the executable of his choosing rather than MS's good one.

He might do that by physically accessing the hardware where MS's houses
its servers. Presumably MS has numerous webservers, perhaps depending on
what part of the world you are accessing from.

Here's a big half billion dollar Quincy class data center in San Antonio
TX one might try to attack http://bit.ly/1mG99t

However, there's quite a bit of security.

If everyone kill-filed this troll, he probably wouldn't go away but at
least those of us that have kill-filed him wouldn't have to read replies
    to his crap posts.

    BD: Why does 1 + 1 = 2?

    Reply: It's called mathematics.

    BD: Who determines that?

    Reply: Mathematicians.

BD: Why do we trust mathematicians?

    Reply: **** off moron.

BD: I'm just trying to figure this all out.
