On occasion. As the radio is busted in my van; it's not often. I have
an mp3 player wired up to external speakers; but I keep the volume real
low so I can listen for engine/transmission noises.

You won't find statistics that say average drivers who do listen to
music cause nearly as many fatalities as that of a drunk or cell phone
using driver.

... cause NEARLY as many?? Are you saying that causing any accidents from
listening to music is acceptable?

What I said was that if you are talking on a cell phone while driving
then you are not a safe driver. I am not going to be distracted from my
initial comment; no matter how many off the wall side comments you decide
to make.

You also made the comparison that listening to music won't cause nearly as
many fatalities. Sounds like it's ok with you to cause SOME fatalities from
listening to music.. just as long as it's not as many as drivers on cell
phones? If you felt that having distractions while driving caused people to
be an unsafe driver, you'd be equally outraged with people who listened to
music because that can cause accidents and deaths too.. just not as many.

Which is it? Are you for being a safe driver or not?

Actually, you tried to swing the topic towards music; but I'm not

According to published statistics, cell phone driving is just as
dangerous as drunk driving. I don't believe you should be driving drunk
anymore so than talking on the phone while your driving, and
overwhelming evidence supports me on this.
