    Pick one real-time scanner and dump the rest. The real-time scanners tend to
    fight with each other.

    I have removed Webroot, but the anti spyware component is something I am
    after.

    My understanding is that 'Corporate' Norton software *does* protect against
    spyware.

    You have enough with malwarebytes, superantispyware if they are real time installs.
    Spybot is a has been and is overbloated. As you can see there is a person who
    answered here not knowing his stuff and you should ignore his posts (BD)
    Norton Corporate ( version 11 hopefully) is excellent for your virus\trojan needs.
    Just make sure you keep up with the updates.

    Apologies for a late reply, I spoke to Webroot & requested for a 'downgrade'
    to spysweeper. Now everything works fine.
