    Security Threat Report: Mid-year 2010

Sophos has published the mid-year update to its security threat report,
revealing the latest trends and findings from the world of cybercrime.

Halfway through 2010, cybercrime continues to evolve and grow in both
    scale and sophistication.

Read the new report to gain an insight into the latest views on IT
security threats, including cyberwarfare, social networking threats,
data loss, malware and spam trends, and whether any OS is risk-free.

WTF are you crossposting this for. It belongs to the spyware group where you also
crossposted it ,but for sure it does not belong here.
You are an idiot that should belong in the Believe It or Not records as the dumbest
    computer wizard wannabe.
And stop with your son and the cemetery. There is no such grave and you with your
    imagination talked yourself into it

Just where did you imagine 'here' was/is, Peter Foldes?

You posted *in* the spyware group! Doh!

    Regrettably, there is.

I suppose you don't believe that Jesus, the Son of God, ascended into
    heaven either, do you?

Most of us who care and/or are into those scenes are already aware of the
regurgitated news article clippings you keep posting here. This isn't a
specific technical newsgroup; what real discussion could you possibly
hope to achieve by continually doing this?

The report is, I'm fairly confident, only issued twice each year. IMO,
it is well worth a read by *anyone* who uses a computer on-line.

Being "into the scene", Dustin, can *you* explain how Cybercrime
continues to grow exponentially, in spite of the best efforts of the
anti-malware fraternity? Thing *have* changed dramatically since you
    *retired* over 10 years ago!

What do you do, *practically*, to warn your family, friends, neighbours
and fellow citizens of Kingsport, about the real-life dangers lurking on
    the Internet nowadays?

I think your confused on what retirement from VX actually is. In simple
terms, it means I no longer practice the dark arts of viral coding; It
doesn't mean I've kept my head in the sand for the last 10 years.

I won't intentionally help you, BD.

So now we have both you *and* Peter Foldes avoiding the questions.

Might you, perhaps, be related in some way?

Do others reading here feel that these questions are 'unreasonable' or
asking for too much personal information?

Yes, you have no need to know.

Since your computers are not always under your control
perhaps you should ask yourself those questions.

    LOL

    No surprise.

    > Might you, perhaps, be related in some way?

I don't know Peter Foldes personally; only what I've read here.
