    david brooks--more of your *friends*?

TWO brothers who work as teachers at nearby Midland primary schools
were at secret addresses last night after being arrested for alleged
    child porn offences.

Christopher and Timothy Davis have been suspended from their jobs at
different primary schools in affluent Solihull.

The brothers were arrested at an address on Wednesday and bailed on
suspicion of possessing indecent images of children "pending further
    investigations".

Christopher, 43, and Timothy, 37, are now understood to have left
their home and are staying at secret addresses.

The elder brother taught at St Patrick's Church of England Junior and
Infants School in Earlswood, Solihull, while Timothy worked at
Monkspath Junior and Infants School in the Shirley area of Solihull.

Last night, parents of children who attend Monkspath spoke of their
    horror at the accusations.

IT manager Andrew Chapman, 43, who has a six year-old son at the
school, said: "I got a text from another parent on Friday saying that
    someone had been arrested.

"I rang the school number and got redirected to Solihull Council and
they said that they couldn't tell any more details at present.

"We know nothing about the teacher. I feel mad, but there is nothing
    that you can do."

Athos Thouki, 35, has a nine year-old child at Monkspath. She said: "I
only heard about this on Friday. A neighbour who has a daughter at the
    school told us the news.

"We are not very happy. It's left me worried sick. But I'm still going
to keep my kids at the school.''

Housewife Tracy Jones, 35, who has a child in Year Six, said: ''I
spoke to a lady who said the police were going to interview Year Six
    pupils.

    "I'm anxious about it.''

West Midlands Police revealed the arrests at a press conference on
Friday. They had followed a probe by its child online safety team and
    public protection unit.

Parents of pupils at both schools have been sent letters from Mark
Rogers, Chief Executive of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

It states: ''The investigation is currently at a very early stage and
is likely to take some time because computer records and other
evidence need to be carefully examined.

"It is important to stress that at this stage of the inquiry there is
nothing to suggest any physical contact between the suspect and
children featured in the images. I understand you will be anxious
about the implications of this for your child and undertake to keep
you informed of the progress of the investigation as soon as often as
I am able to do. We will be supporting head teachers at school on the
    first day of term.''

A helpline has also been set up for parents on 0121 704 8300.

Sources close to the inquiry said detectives would be checking to see
if any of the children in the alleged images were pupils at the
    schools.

But they stressed the images were believed to have been downloaded
from the internet and were not thought to involve any of the students.

Detective Chief Superintendent Gareth Morgan, head of West Midlands
Police public protection unit, said at the press conference: "This is
clearly a very sensitive case which will raise many questions among
    parents.

"It is an immediate priority to reassure them by providing as much
information as and when we can to answer those questions.

"To do that effectively we will progress the investigation as
thoroughly and quickly as possible and continue to engage with
    families and the wider community."

Monkspath currently has 710 pupils aged three to 11. Children have
drawn pictures of all the teachers for the school website, including
Timothy Davis, who is listed as a Year Six group leader.

St Patrick's, which has 264 pupils aged three to 11, is described as a
Victorian school set in a beautiful rural location.

The brothers are listed on the electoral register at the same £350,000
property in Monkspath. Yesterday, nobody was answering the door at the
luxury house which sits at the top of an exclusive cul-de-sac.

One neighbour said: "The family keep themselves to themselves, but I
believe a mother and three sons live there."

"I think one of them teaches piano lessons at home for children, aged
    around eight upwards.''

What did any of that have to do with David Brooks - I did not see his
name mentioned anywhere except in your contrived subject line.

How did you find that article anyway, do you subscribe to pedophile
    daily news for some reason?
