A strange thing to say I thought, but I was curious to know more about
this software, which had previously been unknown to me, so I looked here:

    hxxp://www.spyblaster.com/

Exploring further I discovered that it will *not* actually work on a
Mac. But I went here to investigate further ......

hxxp://www.spyblaster.com/videos.html well,to watch the videos actually!

However, when I clicked on the appropriate link, in each instance I was
whisked away to a URL which didn't 'work'.

Maybe someone else - with appropriate skills to check for malware - will
    visit and report their findings.

Too bad it's a freeware app and it's author doesn't have the financial
backing to sue you for slander. The app is legit, it's author is legit
and it's been around for years.

Are you *sure* you haven't confused this product with Spy-WARE-Blaster?

I'd like to know if www.spyblaster.com is 'genuine' or if it is another
    'rogue' scamware/scareware.

Does anyone here know? It seems to be a play on Spyware Blaster

Emsisoft doesn't appearto be too fond of it:

    http://www.emsisoft.com/en/malware/?...n32.Spyblaster

It seems some people are confusing it with Spyware Blaster.

I assumed BD was taking advantage of a typo. He's the sort who would go for
spelling or grammar lames, so it came as no suprise.

    It's OK to be mistaken!

    Try here: http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

It looks as if Emsisoft is down completely

    BUT

    Emisoft is up!

Spelling error/typo by JD? (extra 's')
