These now obfuscated links were posted on the alt.politics.scorched-earth
newsgroup recently.

After following each of them, I discovered that my Apple iMac had been -
um.....'adjusted' - so that I could not quit programmes such as SeaMonkey
and Thunderbird or, indeed, carry out a normal shutdown of my machine.I had
the 'Spinning wheel of death' whatever I did!

Perhaps those here who have the skill might just check the links and tell me
if they find anything malicious or simply tell me that I must have been
imagining things!

I just tried all those sites and even stopped to read some of the
articles. Certainly nothing suspicious looking and there's some pretty
interesting reading too. No alarms went off and everything still seems to
be working fine. I have XP Pro SP3 and use Firefox.

Thank you for looking and for your response.

I wonder if there could be something that was directed only at an OS X
operating system. Surely not, though.

Perhaps I'll take another look at the material using Windows XP Home SP3!
