    Yes, I am actually thinking about a Macbook for my new lappy here soon....

    You have to have the right drivers for OS X to run on a non-apple machine. Because you can't get the same components for a PC as you can in a Mac. The software incapabilities will cause instability.

    I don't know if they do or not. But I do know that most of their stuff is sodered on the mainboard...

    Mac has done alot of things throughout their history to prevent hardware competition. This is part of what makes them so stable and expensive.
