    Any Questions About Spyware?

Is there a remote chance that everyone can take a little breather from
the Butts game and the trolls that have suddenly taken over this newsgroup?

We're having a discussion about God? Holy **** people.

And all we can do is warn others of the disease that is Butts. He's not
going to provide any information to back up his claims. That's why we warn.

    I give up. Goodbye.

In case you haven't noticed JD, the newsgroup is pretty much dead aside
from a few shots at pcbutts and a little bit of troll feeding..

As far as the God discussion; I'm just trying to pass some time. lol

What if it's only dead because of that bull****? If everybody took a
little breather maybe it would go back to what it's supposed to be? ****
the trolls and Butts, if you don't feed them and him, they die or at
least move on to some other newsgroup. The only way to find out is to
    stop feeding them!

    > As far as the God discussion; I'm just trying to pass some time. lol

Cool, pass some time in a God newsgroup. Let me know which one you
choose and I'll rock your little God discussion to no end. But not in
    this newsgroup.

There are people out there that need to know about MbAM, SASfree,
a-squared Free, Spybot Search & Destroy and SpwareBlaster and other free
anti-spyware, etc. programs and this is one of the newsgroups where they
used to be able to read about those programs.

It's not because of that. Having been on Usenet for more than 20 years,
this happens and as more and more people are using the web, more and
more providers are terminating Usenet service or not including it as
part of their offering, it will get slower - people won't know what they
    are missing.

If someone really had a question they would post it.

Yep. As I said, it's not just this newsgroup. I subscribe to somewhere
around 30 or so, and the posts are way down on all of them, if non
    existant.

If it was just this newsgroup, I'd say the bull****. However, the serious
low volume posts are affecting every newsgroup I subscribe too. Even one
on alt.politics.scorched-earth has so few posters now, it's not even
funny. Usenet is showing signs of near death.

Eek! I just wanted to pass a little time. Not get into a full blown
    debate or anything. Thanks anyhow.

They still can and do I think. Really, browse thru a few newsgroups..
it's generally the same all over the place.

Hey... lately it's picked up a bit because we've allowed ourselves to argue
and debate more. Generally, someone will post a thread telling us to shut
up because they think we're beating the subject like *beating a dead horse*,
but those kinds of lengthy discussions help keep the groups active and
    interesting. Don't you think?

I used to run a couple of Christian ngs and chat rooms, but I think my
favorite type of discussions involves analyzing topics related to that,
morality, personalities, and conflict resolution ... that can get really
interesting if people will allow the discussions to take their natural ebb
    and flow.

How would you *rock* his God discussion? I'd like to observe and maybe
    interject thoughts occasionally.
