Forged (simply) means that it was posted with your handle and your email
(but not with your header characteristics).
What does 'It looks real enough' supposed to mean? It looks real what?

^1 Falsifying header lines ... to attribute a post to someone else...
are serious abuses of our service and will result in immediate account
termination.
^1 http://www.giganews.com/legal/aup.html Altered Headers - Falsifying
header lines to obscure the originating server, to attribute a post to
someone else, to falsely indicate moderator approval, or to make an
original post look like a followup are serious abuses of our service and
will result in immediate account termination.

I'm glad that you are paying such close attention to what time I make
each and every one of my news message posts.
That makes /you/ the one who is more like BD who likes to study what
time people are posting messages.

Easy to do when you have two posts back to back and a time stamp column.
Tow posts back to back makes you little david or his lap dog.
