    Pretty funny and a little sad at the same time. The funniest part is
    "McAfee also promised a two-year extension to subscribers whose PCs were
    knackered by the update." Sad that most McAfee users probably won't look
    for another AV solution. Oh well. 8-)

    You got that right, if my AV vendor knackered my PC, they could give me a
    lifetime license, I wouldn't accept.

    My guess is many will look at replacing those PC's with shiny new MACS.
    Apple's sales people are missing a cash cow if they haven't jumped on this.
