Haven't those two had some problems with each others apps in the past?
Sunbelt's vipre or counterspy trying to interfere with mbam's updates or
mbam calling false positives on the sunbelt apps?

Maybe as they got together and worked out those problems, they decided
    to do more together.

I suppose there have been issues, as there have been incompatability problems
with MBAM and other AV apps.

The Press Release is calling is a partnership, this may be a polite way of saying
that SunBelt bought out MBAM, I cannot speak to this, as this just happened of
late. If I have anything else I will post it.

Does this mean that we will finally see a law suit along the lines of
MBAM (Sunbelt) vs PC-Butts over software / code / copyright
    infringement?

Looks like Sunbelt might have some real money behind them...

So now he has copied MBAMs code too?
Heres me thinking he only copied text files.

Do Americans get lessons in how to sue people?

This really is the most boring long abused subject in this group.
The reason given by all the regulars for posting about pcbutts is to
warn others of his bad (and copied) code.
This is so far from the truth. His name is in almost every thread and
rarely is he the first one to bring it up.

As for copyright infringement, None of you ever do this. Do you?
No "copied" images? No "copied" movies? No "copied" music?
Must be so great being perfect.

Time to either put up or shut up, or is the sheep going to keep calling
    wolf.
Either way, sue or not. I don't give a care one way or the other. But if
    not, change the record.

In the UK there is not one thing anyone here could have seen legal
action taken for (including Civil action). Well except for the one
person who made threats of violence against pcbutts (I expect this was
just to warn people away from using his code, hey?). That is illegal
here and I am sure is in the USA too.
But no-one in the UK would care to even bother about it (unless maybe
they had watched a little too much US TV). Sticks and stones and all
    that!

Peter.. evidently about half the people here don't really like you... at
least I'm giving you a chance to show me what sort of a person you are. I
haven't run out of patience with you yet, so I will continue to wait and see
what sort of a person that might be living behind that name you use. Thus
far you don't like anyone who doesn't agree with you, and you're not very
patient, and your English is a bit broken at times, so it's obvious you have
different customs and your behavior is more crude and gruff. That could be
due to your different background, tho. You resort to foul language when you
get frustrated or don't get your way, which, for being in your late 60's
either puts you into the category of mild dementia, or just being an all
round PITA personality type. I am leaning toward the latter.

Peter FOADs is not PCBUTTS. He is PCBUTTS' *****.
You make accusations like that again and PETER FOADS will sue your ass
    (after he has groped it).
