I said GMT you idiot can't you read? UTC/GMT does not change during the
daylight saving period because it does not observe daylight saving time.
That is why the computer displays it as GMT-08:00 Pacific because that is
the correct time. Get your facts right.

GMT and UTC and Zero Time and Zulu Time are all one and the same, but you
are so friggin' thick you wouldn't know that.

Of course GMT doesn't change, dickhead........that is the Universal Time
that all clocks go by. So when we go to Daylight Saving Time by adding an
hour, it then becomes 7 hours time difference for the Pacific Time Zone in
    relation to GMT.

I taught a night school course that in large part was based on time zones
and GMT, so I do know what in hell I am talking about!!

But you are too damn stupid to understand that!! And you claim you worked
alongside the military?? Not bloody likely.

When you look at the time zone settings on your windows computer do you see
GMT-08:00 Pacific Time (US & Canada) or GMT-07:00 Pacific Time (US & Canada)
    dip****.

Do you know what Daylight Saving Time is, dip****?? Do you see the little
box you check so that your computer changes the time from Standard to DST??

I will spell it out. It says GMT minus 8 hours for Pacific Time which is in
Standard Time. I have the box ticked to go forward an hour when Daylight
Saving Time kicks in, which makes it GMT minus SEVEN hours ..........sigh,
    you are so retarded!!

And that is the end of that........you will now go back into my
    killfile......dickhead!!

This is what the op said
"Once again, for those of you who don't read, my time is set to Pacirfic
    Time
(U.S. & Canada), and the automatic advance for daylight time is set. When I
ran the API call that queries the time information the system said that I
    was
at GMT -7 hours, which is correct."

That is wrong, GMT-8 is Pacific Time (US & Canada) as it shows in the
window. GMT-7 Pacific Time (US & Canada) is not even an option in the list.
    Now get lost loser.
