DVD drive does not found in "my computer" icon

Hi,
when I click on "my computer" icon another drive found but DVD drive does not found. I have checked all the connection of DVD drive but no fault available there.What is the problem I don't know. Please help me what can I do?

Hi - what version of Windows are you using - Xp-Vista-Win7?

Follow this steps,
1. Right click on my computer
2. click on manage
3. click on device manager
on the right side cd or dvd player shown if not shown cd player does not connect properly. Unplug the player and clean it with WD-40. Again plug in properly. I think it is shown on device manager. If it does not work click into the link http://www.techyv.com/questions/cd-r...ected-or-shown
