Blue Screen, need help!

Hi guys, running a Windows 7 64-bit system.

Recently installed it, probably a few months. About a month or so ago, started to get blue screens. They point to ntoskrnl.exe and usually some other driver (either nwifi.sys or ndis.sys).

I have attached some of the recent dumps and hope someone can help me :\

PS I am using a generic wireless-n usb adapter. I have tried a branded one (AirLink) but it was extremely slow. It feels like the AirLink didn't experience the blue screen, could it possibly be the generic adapter's driver? I did a windows update when I first installed Windows for the wireless adapter when it showed up in optional updates and I'm pretty sure that's the earliest I started receiving the blue screens.

As you say - minidumps show..
IMAGE_NAME: ndis.sys
IMAGE_NAME: nwifi.sys

Probably caused ntoskrnl.exe

nwifi.sys - relates to the WiFi driver,
Update th driver.

ndis.sys
Relates to the LAN CARD / NIC [Network card]
Downloading and install the latest drivers from the manufacture’s website.

Should I worry about the ntoskrnl.exe at all?

I'm unable to update nwifi.sys, as my wifi adapter is generic and has no driver availability besides the one provided by Windows..

For ndis.sys, is that the same as the NIC driver for my motherboard?

Latest dump files are pointing to ntoskrnl.exe
No longer showing ndis.sys or nwifi.sys to be the cause.
ntoskrnl.exe is a major file for the operating system - and nothing works without it.
But that makes it harder to find the cause.

Download BlueScreenView - to see if that can highlight what is causing blue screen.

Download>and post the last 4 minidump from the scan.

Once it has scanned>Edit>Select All>File>Save Selected Item
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad>Copy>paste entry.

I've noticed that the blue screen occurs usually when I'm torrenting. It doesn't occur when I'm downloading large files, I've done that with JDownloader and it stayed on all night. I've tried uTorrent and Miro but they both have the same result.

Both relate to your wireless driver.
Download new driver - un-install old driver - install the new one.

Ok, uninstalled, and installed new driver. Left on with torrent for the past.... 8 hours. Still on with no BSOD. I think it's fixed, thank you! Will continue to monitor PC for any problems but it looks like its good now.
