I had also noticed that you have XP SP1.After Judy has helped you rid your system of the baddies,I would suggest going to Windows Update and updating to SP2.Another thing is that I am curious as to if you are also running the AVG antivirus on top of the other 2 programs.And if by chance you are on a high speed connection,a firewall would add to your your security greatly.
