    "olethk32.dll is possibly corrupt"

    I'm running Windows XP on an IBM ThinkPad.

    When I start up, it goes to a blue screen after a while, and said blue screen says:

    STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum}
    The image olethk32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum.

    Help? T_T

    I don't even know if this is the right place in the forum to put this XD

    Lightbulb

    Curious, can you boot in Safe Mode?

    Either way, do you have the original XP CD?

    If so check out the instructions on this MS page.
