Cool I told you it was coming....

And it has FINALLY arrived!!! I got my taxes back Friday morning, and got my new Macbook that afternoon before work!!

That's right...I am now officially an owner of a Mac!!

    Specs:
    13" Glossy Widescreen
    2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    1GB RAM
    80GB HDD
    Superdrive
    Built-in wireless/bluetooth
    Applecare Extended warranty

So, we'll see how it goes. I've had a lot of fun with it at work so far. The keyboard is REALLY quiet, I LOVE the dashboard and not having to have an AV to update or worry about....I've installed FF and it runs like a charm....

And for those of you who are curious....HERE is the link to the computer I got (don't worry, It didn't cost that much)

    Thumbs up

    That is one gay laptop!

lmao, I was kidding Giz, though the screen size seemed a bit small (but you probably prefered it for that reason), it is a nice machine nevertheless!

LOL! Thanks TL. I wouldn't expect anything less of you....really though, you'd think 13" is small, but this widescreen is a 1280x800 and it's really nice! And considering this is almost as powerful as my desktop, and WAY more powerful than my previous laptop, I am not going to complain in the least.

See, I spent $1500 out the door on mine with student discounts.....you find me another laptop that will last 4.5 hours on a standard battery and run both MAC OS and Windows. AND doesn't need any antivirus...
